1444 Series | Aluminium Chassis

Aluminium Body, Walnut Side Option.

Product Features

Spot welded - heavy duty construction chassis.
Natural aluminium finish - also available in a painted steel with walnut side panels.
Side panels are made from solid walnut and routed out to fit over ends of chassis (pre-punched for easy mounting).
Walnut side panels attach with four machine screws and lockwashers (included) into metal inserts to avoid wood damage.
Usable surface of chassis front, back and top are reduced by roughly 7/8" (22mm) due to inset in walnut sides.
Optional bottom plates are punched with 4 holes - 3/16" diameter.
Bottom plate hardware not provided, please order separately - part number 1421J6 (pack of 6, #6-32 Phillips head screws).
Note: Screws should not be torqued past 4.43 lbf/in. (50 cN.m.).
Note: Our steel chassis covers (1451 Series) are not compatible with this series.

Hammond Manufacturing Customisation Services

Product Customisation Options:

What makes KGA Enclosures Ltd different from most other larger distributors is that we can offer full customisation services on all enclosures and accessories. All customisation work is undertaken by the relevant supplier, (some smaller production runs are done by utilizing an outside contractor) at their own manufacturing facilities. These services include milling or punching holes and slots into the enclosure or end plates for cables, connectors, switches, etc. Printing and silk-screening services all for the addition of text, logos, and graphics onto both the enclosure and end plates, to allow the end user to easily identify the product, and to allow the final product to look more elegant. Almost every enclosure will need some kind of modification to be useful. In house, modifications can be tedious, over-complicated, and a distraction from your core business. A third party shop can add time and expense. Let us help you by delivering quality products made to your exact specifications.
