1591XX Series | ABS Plastic Multi-Purpose Enclosures with PC Board Standoffs

Product Features
  • Ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards horizontally.
  • Internal sides of enclosure are smooth for easy connector installation, except for the largest enclosure. The 1591XXF size is a universal type which includes PC board standoffs in the lid and enclosure as well as card guides.
  • Provides protection against access of dust and splashing water.
  • Designed to meet IP54.
  • Lid and box both contain integral PC board standoffs.
  • Standard black and grey versions moulded from easy-to-machine, flame retardant ABS plastic which carries a UL flammability rating of UL94-V0.
  • Transparent blue and all economy versions are moulded from general purpose plastic that is not flame retardant.
  • On standard versions, the lid is secured with M3 x 10mm Phillips machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings. Perfect for applications with repetitive assembly and disassembly are required.
  • Economy versions are assembled with self-tapping screws into fully plastic posts.
  • Black and transparent blue enclosures include black screws, while grey enclosures include nickel plated screws.
  • Note: Some chemicals can damage or weaken plastic. Please read our chemical resistance statement here for more information.
Assembly Hardware
  • Replacement machine lid screws for standard flame retardant versions are available in packs of 100: 1591MS100 (nickel plated) or 1591MS100BK (black).
  • Replacement self-tapping lid screws for economy versions are available in packs of 100: 1591TS100 (nickel plated) or 1591TS100BK (black).
  • PC board screws are available in packs of 50, 1593ATS50 and pack of 100, 1593ATS100.

Hammond Manufacturing Customisation Services
Product Customisation Options:
What makes KGA Enclosures Ltd different from most other larger distributors is that we can offer full customisation services on all enclosures and accessories. All customisation work is undertaken by the relevant supplier, (some smaller production runs are done by utilizing an outside contractor) at their own manufacturing facilities. These services include milling or punching holes and slots into the enclosure or end plates for cables, connectors, switches, etc. Printing and silk-screening services all for the addition of text, logos, and graphics onto both the enclosure and end plates, to allow the end user to easily identify the product, and to allow the final product to look more elegant. Almost every enclosure will need some kind of modification to be useful. In house, modifications can be tedious, over-complicated, and a distraction from your core business. A third party shop can add time and expense. Let us help you by delivering quality products made to your exact specifications.
