The Hammond Z4C Series is an industry-leading seismic server cabinet engineered for telecommunications, utilities, government, transportation and mission-critical infrastructure. Intertek testing subjected a 45U Z4C Series cabinet loaded at 1,650 lbs, to GR-63-CORE zone 4 earthquake conditions, successfully completing testing with no permanent structural or mechanical damage and deflection within GR-63-CORE requirements.

Heavy-gauge welded construction, 12-gauge adjustable mounting rails, high-airflow perforated doors, flexible cable entry, integrated grounding and optional vertical cable management create a complete infrastructure platform for high-density network, server, communications and control equipment. The cabinet is designed for secure floor anchorage without auxiliary structural support, helping simplify installation in demanding seismic environments.

  • Heavy-gauge welded steel frame with reinforced construction provides industry-leading seismic strength, with the 45U Z4C successfully Intertek tested to GR-63-CORE zone 4 requirements while loaded at 1,650 lbs.
  • Intertek NEBS verified to GR-63-CORE zone 4 seismic requirements for telecom, utility, government, transportation and other critical infrastructure environments.
  • Base-mounted design was successfully tested without auxiliary structural support, simplifying installation by eliminating the need for overhead seismic bracing.
  • Two (2) pairs of infinitely adjustable-depth mounting rails accommodate equipment with different mounting depths and installation requirements.
    • 12-gauge steel square-hole EIA-310-E mounting rails support servers, switches, telecommunications and other 19" rack-mount equipment.
  • 79% perforated front and split rear doors support front-to-rear airflow for high-density network and server equipment.
    • Three-point latching front and rear doors with combination locking swing handles provide secure equipment access.
  • Four top cable access openings and multiple bottom cable-entry options support overhead and raised-floor cable routing.
  • Supports up to four optional vertical cable managers for organized routing of high-density copper, fiber and power cabling.
  • Removable side and top panels simplify equipment installation, cable routing, maintenance and service access.
  • Integrated grounding provisions support bonding of the cabinet frame, doors, panels and installed equipment.
  • Ganging provisions allow multiple cabinets to be joined for larger infrastructure deployments.
  • Available in 24" and 30" widths, 42U and 45U heights and multiple depths to support a wide range of equipment and installation requirements.
  • Includes the required bolt-down hardware for secure floor anchorage and verified seismic performance.

Product Customisation Options:
What makes KGA Enclosures Ltd different from most other larger distributors is that we can offer full customisation services on all enclosures and accessories. All customisation work is undertaken by the relevant supplier, (some smaller production runs are done by utilizing an outside contractor) at their own manufacturing facilities. These services include milling or punching holes and slots into the enclosure or end plates for cables, connectors, switches, etc. Printing and silk-screening services all for the addition of text, logos, and graphics onto both the enclosure and end plates, to allow the end user to easily identify the product, and to allow the final product to look more elegant. Almost every enclosure will need some kind of modification to be useful. In house, modifications can be tedious, over-complicated, and a distraction from your core business. A third party shop can add time and expense. Let us help you by delivering quality products made to your exact specifications.
