Customisation Options

Product Features

Desktop electronic instrument enclosure, ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards.
Designed to meet IP54.
Two sets of vertical 1.5mm (0.062") PC board guides are moulded into front and rear of case halves.
Integral horizontal PC card mounts on Eurocard centers.
PC card standoffs moulded into top and bottom half of enclosure require #6 x 1/4" (6.4mm) screws, not included. Order part number 1598ATS100.

Flame Retardant Version

Stocked in matte textured black and grey.
Moulded from flame retardant ABS plastic which carries a UL flammability rating of 94-V0.
Enclosure halves are secured with M3 x 0.5" x 10mm (0.39") Phillips machine screws threaded into tapped integral brass bushings. Perfect for applications with repetitive assembly and disassembly are required.
Front and rear panels are 1.6mm (0.064") brushed aluminium with protective paper on one side.

General Purpose Version

Moulded from general purpose ABS plastic (not flame retardant).
Enclosure halves are secured with self-tapping screws threaded into plastic standoffs. Not recommended for repeated assembly and disassembly.
Available with either brushed aluminium or black plastic end panels.

Assembly Hardware

Replacement assembly screws for flame retardant versions - 1591MS100 - pack of 100.
Replacement assembly screws for general purpose versions - 1591TS100 - pack of 100.
Optional PC board mounting screws (standard or economy) - 1598ATS100 - pack of 100.

Hammond Manufacturing Customisation Services

Product Customisation Options:

What makes KGA Enclosures Ltd different from most other larger distributors is that we can offer full customisation services on all enclosures and accessories. All customisation work is undertaken by the relevant supplier, (some smaller production runs are done by utilizing an outside contractor) at their own manufacturing facilities. These services include milling or punching holes and slots into the enclosure or end plates for cables, connectors, switches, etc. Printing and silk-screening services all for the addition of text, logos, and graphics onto both the enclosure and end plates, to allow the end user to easily identify the product, and to allow the final product to look more elegant. Almost every enclosure will need some kind of modification to be useful. In house, modifications can be tedious, over-complicated, and a distraction from your core business. A third party shop can add time and expense. Let us help you by delivering quality products made to your exact specifications.
