The HWC Series swing-out wall mount cabinet from Hammond is expertly designed to accommodate deeper servers while maximizing space efficiency. Constructed from 16-gauge steel, this robust cabinet offers a sleek black powder coat finish for both durability and modern style. With a depth accommodating up to 32.5", it provides plenty of room for your essential IT equipment. The cabinet features dual-hinged doors that swing out fully for easy rear access, allowing for hassle-free maintenance and setup. Equipped with adjustable EIA-compliant square hole mounting rails, this cabinet supports versatile configurations. Additional design elements include multiple ventilation options and provisions for optional fan kits, ensuring optimal cooling for your devices. With three different heights and various door options - including locking vented and acrylic windows, the HWC Series is ideal for public spaces, server rooms or anywhere that requires secure, stylish and accessible equipment storage.
Product Features
  • Available in three (3) heights, two (2) widths and two (2) depths.
  • Optional locking doors are constructed in 16-gauge steel. The door installs in minutes and is available in vented, acrylic window and solid options.
  • The main body is constructed in 16-gauge welded steel and includes four (4) vents for optional fans (FK Series) on the sides of the cabinet.
  • The main body can be installed to swing from left to right or right to left.
  • Both optional door and middle section include draw-latching locks, keyed alike. Optional padlock kit (RPA Series) is available.
  • Includes one (1) pair of adjustable depth 10-32 tapped EIA-compliant mounting rack rails.
    • Thirty (30) inch wide mounting rails include cutouts for optimal 1U 19" accessories, such as cable management or power bars.
    • 10-32 tapped rails are easy to remove on-site and replace with square hole rails (sold separately) if required.
  • Includes starter pack of SCREW1032-50 screws.
Rear Section Features
  • The heavy-duty rear bracket is constructed in 14-gauge welded steel and features a spring-hinge pin for easy installation and removal.
  • 2.5" and 2" conduit knockouts are located on the side.
  • 3", 2" 1.38" and 1.12" conduit knockouts are on the top and bottom.
  • Fan knockouts/cable access is located on the top and bottom.
  • Numerous cable management mounting points are included.
  • Heavy-duty keyhole for wall mounting.
  • Large openings in the rear for cable access.
  • Dedicated bonding and grounding points also provide drill-less electrical utility box mounting. Grounding cable kit (GRDKIT Series) is sold separately.
Product Specifications
  • UL listed 2416 load rated to 350 lbs. (158 kg.).
    • Wall mount racks are rated based on cabinet's weight plus the desired weight capacity to a two (2x) multiplier. 200 lbs. (cabinet weight) + 350 lbs. (cabinet load capacity) x 2 = 1,100 lbs. In this case, the static load is 1,100 lbs. and the UL 2416 load rating is 350 lbs.
  • Seismic rated to 200 lbs. (90.72 kg.) of dynamic load with an Ip factor of 1.5 in accordance with the IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10.
  • Rugged sand-textured black powder paint reduces fingerprints and marks.
    • Complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.
  • Meets PCI DSS (payment card industry data security standard) compliance requirements when the door is installed.
  • TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA.
  • RoHS compliant.
  • Manufactured in North America within an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility.
