- No internal ribs for easy installation of connectors without interference or additional milling.
- Easy to wallmount using blind thru-box holes (on all sizes except 1550Z102, 1550Z115 and 1550Z120). Access to blind holes is outside of gasket ring to uphold ingress protection.
- Unpainted version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges.
- Textured black version is coated with tough polyester powder for a lasting finish, even after machining. Finish is applied outside and inside the enclosure.
- Lid is secured with either two, four or six stainless steel Phillips head machine screws, depending on enclosure size.
- Lid screws are outside the gasket protection area to eliminate the need for o-rings.
- Lid screws are self-captivating on six sizes: 1550Z107, 1550Z108, 1550Z116, 1550Z117, 1550Z137 and 1550Z139. Lid holes are slightly undersized and threaded with the first installation.
- Copper grounding screws and washers available separately.
- Gasket is pre-formed, one-piece silicone rubber and installs easily into lid groove.
- Gasket has a temperature rating of -40°C to +150°C (-40°F to +302°F).
- cUL and UL listed under file #E71073.
- Independently tested to meet IP66, IP67 and IP68 as well as NEMA type 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings.
- Customers should conduct their own testing to determine suitability for any specific application.
- All sizes except 1550Z101 carry an impact rating of IK08 per IEC 62262.
