Customisation Options

Product Features

Attractively styled and ergonomically designed for use as a handheld instrument enclosure.
Flame retardant version is moulded from flame retardant ABS plastic (rated UL94-V0) and is assembled with machine screws into integral brass bushings.
General purpose version is moulded from economical plastic (not flame retardant) and is assembled with self-tapping screws into plastic posts.
Recessed top for membrane display or key pad.
Lap joint construction provides protection against access of dust and splashing water.
Versions without a battery door are designed to meet IP54 ratings.
Extra deep top and ultra shallow base are specifically designed to enhance the aesthetics of the enclosure and provide the user with flexibility and assembly efficiency.
Two keyhole knockouts are moulded into the inside of the base to facilitate wall mounting installations.

50 pack of optional PC board screws (#4 x 1/4" self-tapping), part number 1593ATS50.
100 pack of optional PC board screws (#4 x 1/4" self-tapping), part number 1593ATS100.
Replacement cover screws for flame retardant 1599B sizes:
- 100 pack of silver replacement cover screws (M3-0.5 x 18mm flat head), part number 1594MS100.
- 100 pack of black replacement cover screws (M3-0.5 x 18mm flat head), part number 1594MS100BK.
Replacement cover screws for flame retardant 1599E, H and K sizes:
- 100 pack of silver replacement cover screws (M3 - 0.5 x 12mm), part number 1599HMS100 - nickel plated.
- 100 pack of black replacement cover screws (M3 - 0.5 x 12mm), part number 1599HMS100BK - black oxide.
Replacement cover screws for general purpose versions:
- 1599B sizes: 100 pack of silver replacement cover screws (#4 x 3/4" self-tapping), part number 1599BTS100.
- 1599E, H and K sizes: 100 pack of silver replacement cover screws (#4 x 5/8" self-tapping), part number 1593MS100.

Battery Dividers

Grey ABS plastic panel barriers.
Insert vertically into the PC card guides.
Sold individually.

Battery Holders

Designed for our battery door enclosures (part numbers ending in BAT).
Includes all the parts required to install the battery or batteries.
Includes the battery holder, wires and foam anti-rattle pad.

Belt/Pocket Clips

Moulded from tough nylon.
Includes 2x nylon screws (insulated to avoid interference).
Mounting template included (user drilling required).
Part numbers ending in "CP" come with these clips installed. All other 1599 Series enclosures are compatible.

Product Customisation Options:

What makes KGA Enclosures Ltd different from most other larger distributors is that we can offer full customisation services on all enclosures and accessories. All customisation work is undertaken by the relevant supplier, (some smaller production runs are done by utilizing an outside contractor) at their own manufacturing facilities. These services include milling or punching holes and slots into the enclosure or end plates for cables, connectors, switches, etc. Printing and silk-screening services all for the addition of text, logos, and graphics onto both the enclosure and end plates, to allow the end user to easily identify the product, and to allow the final product to look more elegant. Almost every enclosure will need some kind of modification to be useful. In house, modifications can be tedious, over-complicated, and a distraction from your core business. A third party shop can add time and expense. Let us help you by delivering quality products made to your exact specifications.
