1599 Series - Hand Held Enclosures
Flame Retardant ABS With PCB Standoffs, Battery Compartments
Product Features:
- Attractively styled and ergonomically designed for use as a "hand-held" instrument enclosure.
- Standard version is moulded from flame retardant ABS plastic (rated UL94V-0) and is assembled with machine screws into integral brass bushings.
- Economy version is moulded from economical plastic (not flame retardant) and is assembled with self-tapping screws into plastic posts.
- Recessed top for membrane display or pad.
- Lap joint construction provides protection against access of dust and splashing water.
- Extra deep top and ultra shallow base are specifically designed to enhance the aesthetics of the enclosure and provide the user with flexibility and assembly efficiency.
- Designed to meet IP54.
- Two keyhole knockouts are moulded into the inside of the base to facilitate wall mounting installation.

- Part number: 1593ATS50 - 50 Pack of optional PC board screws, #4 x 1/4" self-tapping.
- Part number: 1593ATS100 - 100 Pack of optional PC board screws, #4 x 1/4" self-tapping.
- Replacement cover screws for flame retardant 1599B sizes:
- Part number: 1594MS100 - 100 Pack of silver replacement cover screws, M3 - 0.5 x 18mm flat head.
- Part number: 1594MS100BK - 100 Pack of black replacement cover screws, M3 - 0.5 x 18mm flat head.
- Replacement cover screws for flame retardant 1599E, H, and K sizes:
- Part number: 1599HMS100 - 100 Pack of silver replacement cover screws, M3 - 0.5 x 12mm.
- Part number: 1599HMS100BK - 100 Pack of black replacement cover screws, M3 - 0.5 x 12mm.
- Replacement cover screws for economy versions:
- Part number: 1599BTS100 - 100 Pack of silver replacement cover screws, #4 x 3/4" self-tapping. For use with 1599B sizes.
- Part number: 1593MS100 - 100 Pack of silver replacement cover screws, #4 x 5/8" self-tapping. For use with 1599E, H, and K sizes.
Battery Dividers:
- Grey ABS plastic panel barriers.
- Insert vertically into the P.C. card guides.
- Sold individually.

Battery Holders:
- Designed for the battery door enclosures (part numbers ending in BAT).
- Includes all the parts required to install the battery or batteries.
- Includes the battery holder, wires and foam anti-rattle pad.

Belt/Pocket Clips:
- Moulded from tough nylon.
- Includes 2 nylon screws (insulated to avoid interference).
- Mounting template included (user drilling required).
- Part numbers ending "CP" come with these clips installed. All other 1599 Series enclosures are compatible.
