1554 PB Series | Type 4, 4X Polycarbonate Pushbutton Enclosure

Product Construction

Electronic instrument enclosures designed for mounting printed circuit boards or DIN rail mounted components.
Polycarbonate material carries a UL flammability rating of UL94-5VA and is suitable for outdoor use.
Lid and mounting holes are located outside of the gasket seal.
Lid is secured with self-captivating M4 stainless steel machine screws (included) threaded into integral stainless steel bushings.
Heavy duty 16-gauge galvanized steel panels available.
Gasket is a preformed, high temperature UL listed silicone rubber. Gasket is replaceable.
Base includes internal DIN rail mounting tabs.
Threaded (M3) integral brass inserts and standoffs designed for M3.5 or #6 self-tapping screws for PC board or inner panel mounting in all but the smallest size.
Vertical PC card guides (for 1.5mm thick PC boards) are moulded in all but the smallest size.

Colour is light grey (RAL 7035).

IP66.
NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13.
- 6 pushbutton enclosures do not meet type 6/6P.

What makes KGA Enclosures Ltd different from most other larger distributors is that we can offer full customisation services on all enclosures and accessories. All customisation work is undertaken by the relevant supplier, (some smaller production runs are done by utilizing an outside contractor) at their own manufacturing facilities. These services include milling or punching holes and slots into the enclosure or end plates for cables, connectors, switches, etc. Printing and silk-screening services all for the addition of text, logos, and graphics onto both the enclosure and end plates, to allow the end user to easily identify the product, and to allow the final product to look more elegant.
