260 Series - Plate and Filament - 22 VA to 248 VA
Universal Primary and 50/60 Hz. Operation
- Universal primary with taps for 100, 120, 220, or 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. (Except for the 260A6 which is 117V, 50/60 Hz. only).
- Designed for preamps, low power amps, general replacement, test equipment, etc.
- Economical, open frame, chassis mount - two hole (0.187 dia. = G) channel bracket, or four hole mounting.
- Units include a Faraday shield between the primary and secondary windings. The electrostatic shield reduces the capacitive coupling from the primary - greatly attenuating higher frequency current coupling to the secondaries.
- Minimum 5" long leads.
- These units are designed to run with BOTH primary windings energized for maximum efficiency.
- The Faraday shield lead - the grey wire - marked SH (shield), should remain grounded to the mounting bracket and in turn to the chassis.
