Product Application
  • Designed for general purpose indoor commercial use as a junction, pull or switch box.
Product Construction
  • Formed and spot welded from 12-gauge (36" x 36"), 14-gauge (36" x 24") or 16-gauge (up to 30" x x24") steel.
  • Flat steel covers fastened with plated steel screws.
  • Keyhole slots permit cover to be lifted off without removing screws entirely.
  • Through holes in back for wall mounting.
  • Grounding location embossed in body.
Product Finish
  • Enclosure and cover are finished in ANSI 61 grey powder coating.
Product Standards
  • UL 50 type 1.
  • CSA type 1.
  • Complies with:
    • NEMA type 1.
    • IEC 60529 and IP20.

What makes KGA Enclosures Ltd different from most other larger distributors is that we can offer full customisation services on all enclosures and accessories. All customisation work is undertaken by the relevant supplier, (some smaller production runs are done by utilizing an outside contractor) at their own manufacturing facilities. These services include milling or punching holes and slots into the enclosure or end plates for cables, connectors, switches, etc. Printing and silk-screening services all for the addition of text, logos, and graphics onto both the enclosure and end plates, to allow the end user to easily identify the product, and to allow the final product to look more elegant.
