Product Features

Ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards.
Can be used in a tabletop configuration or two different wall-mount configurations.
Rounded corners and face provide a more modern look while still offering superior water-tight ratings.
Lid is secured with included M4 stainless steel machine screws which are threaded into corrosion resistant bushings for repetitive assembly and disassembly. All hardware is designed to avoid corrosion caused by harsh environments over time.
Available in black or grey ABS plastic or UL listed polycarbonate.
Gasketed lid with two piece tongue and groove construction provides protection against access of oil, dust and water.
Gasket is one piece made from high temperature UL listed silicone.
Aluminium inner panels (1557-PL Series) are available as accessories.

Ratings - ABS

ABS versions are moulded from general purpose material which carries a flammability rating of UL94-HB. For indoor use.
ABS versions are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66 ratings.
ABS versions carry an impact rating of IK07 per IEC 62262:2021.
Recommended operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).

Ratings - Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized for outdoor use and carry a UL94-5VA flammability rating.
Polycarbonate versions are cUL and UL 508A listed under file #E65324.
Polycarbonate versions have been independently tested to meet IP66, IP67 and IP68 as well as NEMA type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 ratings.
Polycarbonate versions carry an impact rating of IK08 per IEC 62262:2021.
Recommended operating temperature: -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
- Customers should conduct their own testing to determine suitability for any specific application.

All customisation work is undertaken by the relevant supplier, (some smaller production runs are done by utilizing an outside contractor) at their own manufacturing facilities. These services include milling or punching holes and slots into the enclosure or end plates for cables, connectors, switches, etc. Printing and silk-screening services all for the addition of text, logos, and graphics onto both the enclosure and end plates, to allow the end user to easily identify the product, and to allow the final product to look more elegant.
