HYPB Series Hygienic Type 4X Stainless Steel Pushbutton Enclosures

Sloped Sides With Silicone Gasket

Product Application:

Designed for pushbuttons and indicators while protecting against harsh, hygienic environments.
Sloped on 4 sides prevent water from resting on top regardless of enclosure orientation.
Hex head design screws and door-edge mounted silicone gasket allow for easy cleaning in hose-down environments.
A wide range of sizes and practical accessories make this product line a complete package.

Product Construction:

Formed 304 stainless steel.
Sloped 3° on all 4 sides.
Continuously welded seams ground smooth.
Hex head screw cover can be completely removed for modifications.
Silicone gasket mounts around entire door edge allowing for efficient cleaning in hygienic environments.
Gasket can be easily removed and re-installed for cleaning or replacement. Additional silicone gaskets can be ordered separately.
Multiple pushbutton hole configurations with either 22.5mm or 30.5mm notched holes.
No pre-drilled wall mounting holes allow for flexible mounting alternatives - weld-in-place, stand-offs.
Bonding stud provided on door and grounding stud installed in enclosure.

Product Finish:

Cover and enclosure are natural stainless steel with a smooth #4 dairy finish.

UL 508A Type 3R, 12, 4, 4X.
CSA Type 3R, 12, 4, 4X.
NSF - ANSI 169

What makes KGA Enclosures Ltd different from most other larger distributors is that we offer full customisation services on all enclosure and accessories (where applicable). All customisation work is undertaken by the relevant supplier, (some small projects are done utilizing outside contractors) at their own manufacturing facilities. These services include milling or punching of holes and slots into the enclosure or end plates for cables, connectors, switches etc. Printing and silk screening services allow for the addition of text, logos and graphics onto both the enclosure and end plates, to allow the end user to easily identify the product as well as giving the final product a more elegant finish. Typically the minimum order quantity is 25 pieces. This can vary depending on product and service required. Please note KGA Enclosures does not add on any charges.
Hammond has an experience enclosure modification team and two dedicated modification facilities in North America and the United Kingdom. They are knowledgeable, available and capable.
Hammond Manufacturing helps eliminate scrap and design errors with approval drawings to confirm correct interpretation of your deign required. Many orders will also include a fast delivery of sample enclosures for your inspection. These steps ensure that your assembly fits perfectly before heading into the mass production stage.
