1591 Series - ABS Plastic Multipurpose Enclosures With Card Guides
Flame Retardant, General Purpose, Flanged Lid or Bottom
Product Features:
- Ideally suited for vertical mounting of printed circuit boards (internal side walls include moulded in card guides).
- Integral card guides accept 1.5mm (0.062") P.C. cards.
- Lap joint construction provides protection against access of dust and splashing water.
- Designed to meet IP54.
- Standard versions are moulded from easy to machine flame retardant ABS plastic which carries a UL flammability rating of 94V-0.
- Economy versions are moulded from general purpose (not flame-retardant) plastic.
- On standard versions the lid is secured with M3 x 10mm Philips machine screws, threaded into integral brass bushings. Perfect for applications when repetitive assembly and disassembly are required.
- Economy versions are assembled with self tapping screws into fully plastic posts.
- Black enclosures include black screws, white all others include standard nickel finish screws.

- Part number: 1591MS100 - Replacement machine lid screws for standard flame retardant versions, pack of 100, nickel plated.
- Part number: 1591MS100BK - Replacement machine lid screws for standard flame retardant versions, pack of 100, black.
- Part number: 1591TS100 - Replacement self-tapping lid screws for economy versions, packs of 100, nickel plated.
- Part number: 1591TS100BK - Replacement self-tapping lid screws for economy versions, pack of 100, black.
P.C. Board Card Adaptors:
- Allows mounting of PC boards horizontally within the enclosure.
- Moulded from flame retardant ABS plastic.
