IP68 Enclosures - Industrial and Watertight Enclosures

Hardwearing enclosures designed for tougher environments and sealed to IP68.

Having been tested with complete immersion in water of up to 10 meters for 20 hours, these are ideal for use in harsh environmental conditions. Examples include deep water applications within the oil and gas industries, and in offshore or marine environments. DIN Rails are also available for this range.

For an enclosure which will withstand harsh environmental conditions, this hardwearing, IP68 range, may be highly suitable. Certified to BS EN 60529:1992, this series has been tested for up to 10m for 20 hours, offering the best protection against water ingress. Therefore they are ideal for deep water applications within the oil and gas industries and offshore/marine environments.

These heavy duty boxes are manufactured from LM24 die cast aluminium and are supplied complete with lid, seal, captive screws and earth screws.

Product Features
IP68 Rated (Submersion in water at depths of 10 meters for 20 hours). Hard-wearing, robust range. Three product finish options to choose from including Plain Aluminium, Powder Coated or Nylon Coated. Manufactured from LM2/ADC12/Al-Si10CuFe. Certified to BS EN 60529:1992 and RoHS compliant.

Deltron Enclosures Customisation Services

Machining

Drilling, tapping, milling, louvre's, PEM's, insertion of windows, handles or slots and more, to prepare the enclosure for the assembly stage.

Coatings / Chemical Treatments

Enhance the protection of the enclosure by adding a coating or chemical treatment. Deltron offer's textures, powder coating of smooth nylon coating as standard, to offer protection from corrosion UV lights, and oils, other treatments are available on request.

Painting / Printing

Select an attention grabbing red for health and safety purpose, or choose a light colour for an aesthetically pleasing enclosure that blends into the background. Just provide the Pantone / RAL reference for a custom colour. Incorporate your logo or a specification / product code with the printing options which includes silk screening or engraving services.
