IP68 Fortis Enclosure Range
The best protection on the market yet over the combined effects of water, impact and corrosive environments.

Outstanding Corrosion Resistance: A salt spray test simulated prolonged periods in a corrosive environment and although the enclosure are certified for resistance of up to 1000 hours, the test actually went on a further 18 weeks, only being stopped due to other projects that required the engineer's attention, and the box was still not corroded.

Manufactured from a Premium Alloy: Containing less than 0.1% copper, the enclosure has a reduced rate of corrosion caused to standard aluminium, which on average contains 3% to 4%.

High Impact and Ingress Protection: Not only do they retain an impact rating of up to 7 joules, but all IP testing was carried out after impact testing, verifying that the seal is maintained when the enclosure is treated roughly. Most enclosures on the market perform IP testing before impact testing.

Superior Painting Process: All boxes are chemically passivated prior to painting and then allowed to dry for 48 hours before electrostatically coating them with Epoxy-Polyester Hybrid.

Standard Enclosure Screws
These are suitable for all Deltron Boxes, except Heavy Duty IP66, Heavy Duty IP68 and Heavy Duty Low Cost Enclosures.
  • Thread: M3.5 x 0.6 x 12mm.
  • Head detail: Recessed Pozi drive, countersink head.
  • Material: SUS304-2B. UK standard 304S31.
  • Plain standard screw finish: Stainless Steel.
  • Black standard screw finish: Nickel plating, BS EN 150 4042:2000 3.5 microns.

Deltron Enclosures Customisation Services
Machining
Drilling, tapping, milling, louvre's, PEM's, insertion of windows, handles or slots and more, to prepare the enclosure for the assembly stage.
Coatings / Chemical Treatments
Enhance the protection of the enclosure by adding a coating or chemical treatment. Deltron offer's textures, powder coating of smooth nylon coating as standard, to offer protection from corrosion UV lights, and oils, other treatments are available on request.
Painting / Printing
Select an attention grabbing red for health and safety purpose, or choose a light colour for an aesthetically pleasing enclosure that blends into the background. Just provide the Pantone / RAL reference for a custom colour. Incorporate your logo or a specification / product code with the printing options which includes silk screening or engraving services.
